Old & Recycled 11
Tämä sängynpeitto on edesmenneen ex-anoppini käsin tekemä. Se oli kuolinpesässä siivottavien tavaroiden joukossa, josta tyttäreni kanssa sen löysimme. Muistan vielä, kuinka tyttäreni isoäiti virkkasi noita pikkupalasia. Mahtavan suuri työ ja upea lopputulos. En itse ole mikään pitsi-ihminen, mutta tämä peitto nostaa kunnioitukseni käsityötä kohtaan.
This bedspread was hand made by my dear departed ex-mother-in-law. It was among the to-be-cleaned stuff in the decedent's estate, where my daughter and I found it. I can still remember my daughter's grandmother crochet those tiny pieces. A great work and a respectable result. I am not too much of a lace-person, but with this bedspread gives a feeling of respect toward the hand work.
